I Am Woman, Hear Me Build Stuff

Sooo, it's official. I'm awesome and I make stuff. And the stuff that I make? Isn't horrible. I just made this:

Mmhmm, that's right. It's a BED, people. (Update 03/2012: Um, a bed that Ana White named after this blog! Wow!) 

 

And those kids are real, not mannequins. And the bed is not collapsing a la "Step Brothers" ("It will give us so much extra space in our room to do activities!") And yes, the room is messy and there's a laundry basket full of dirty clothes at the foot of the bed. I'm just keepin' it real, guys... just keepin' it real.

It's all part of my master plan to redo my kids' room. So far it's got new paint (worst paint experience eveeeerr involving several trips back to the paint counter in 2 days), the bed, and thaaaaat's pretty much it. I'll definitely be keeping you updated as I baby-step my way to boy room cuteness.
