I meant that title in the least creepy, "Poltergeist"-y way possible.
I was talking about my new washing machine and dryer, of course! As you can see by the chic pink and white polka dot pajama pants (mine) we are already putting them to use. We accidentally ran one load through the washing machine on hot because we forgot that our hot/cold valves are backwards when we hooked it up... good thing it was Mike's stuff, phew!
About this photo, though... ahem. Do me a favor and ignore all the ugly dungeon stuff, okay?
Stuff like the floor drain without a cover (where I lost my cordless phone battery, dagnabit!), and the random piles of stuff on the shelves that are coming down as soon as I build platforms, and the bare wood on the front of the countertop where the old laminate peeled off. My laundry room is so unfortunate.
But not for long, y'all.
...well, I do need to finish the stairs first. And I really do need to build that sofa table for my living room I was talking about... and I have a few things I need to do for my kids' room, and I really need to paint my master bedroom's crown molding. Hmm.
Let me rephrase.
But not for too extremely or ridiculously long, y'all. (At least it's in the basement!)
Three cheers for new washers and dryers! They look fab and I can totally screen out the reality of all the other stuff. You know what a pro I am in that department. :)
