A Room for My Mom: Headboard

Last month I wrote about my mom and how fabulous she is, and shared a design board for her much deserved bedroom makeover. I told her that for her birthday I was working on a project for her room, and so... surprise! I thought I'd share the headboard I made for her.

First let's take a look at the design board for her room again, in case you haven't seen it:

The good news is that now I have some "before" photos to share - my dad was nice enough to snap some for me before they left for vacation recently. Hopefully later this summer I'll be able to hop down to her neck of the wood so this makeover can really happen!

P.S. There really is a headboard, but not in this post!
