Still looking for a quick gift for neighbors or coworkers? Here's the easiest, quickest idea out there... I just made it this afternoon, and I had to share!
I found this recipe on Our Best Bites and have been planning on making it for months. I ordered bottles from Specialty Bottle, but any small canning jar would be perfect! It takes only 3 ingredients and about 5 minutes. Easiest thing ever?
1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 stick butter, 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips in a pot over medium heat. Melt it. Eat it. Bottle it. Gift it. Easy peasy. (If you want more detailed instructions you should hop over to see the original recipe at Our Best Bites!)
My jars hold 8 ounces and each recipe fills two of them.

And because I want to make things even easier, I made little 2-inch round labels to share!

Salted butter, or unsalted? We always, but always, make a tea ring for the neighbors--only this year my mom can't make it and I don't want to make a dozen of them plus our other standard baking. This seems like it would be an awesome, and quick, AND easy alternative!
It is VERY easy. I used salted, but you could hop through to Our Best Bites and see if they discussed that in the post or the comments? It tastes quite fabulous with the salted though... ;)
