Boys' Room {Reveal}

Here it is! I'm thrilled with how the room turned out, even if it'll never look like this again because (my) boys will be (messy) boys.

(There's a lot of pictures, so be prepared!)

Before we go too far, let's remember what the room used to look like (on a messy day!)

And here's the design board I made for the space:

How did we do?

Details and sources will go up next week (update: here they are) -- if there's something specific you want to know about, make sure to ask in case I start forgetting things. Have a great weekend!

  3. Love the desk nook and the arrow above the bunk beds. Now, frame one of those nice, clean room pictures. Next time you tell them to clean their room, show them the picture and tell them to make it look like that again.

    Bahahahahaha...yeah, I know that won't work. I have boys too :)

  8. I love the room. I will bookmark your blog to come back and see the details about the room. Id really like to now where you got the magazine rack. Also, not sure if the step stool is from Target, but I had one I bought years ago for my daughter and there was a recall on them.

  16. Love it! Did you change the color of the pendant light "cage"? It doesn't look as bright orange as in your previous posts. I absolutely love your fun use of different colors and textures.

  17. Gosh, I'm so flattered by the positive responses :) Y'all are making my day!

    Erin, I can't reply to you via email so I'll answer here -- the orange is the same color, it's just hard to photograph when the light is on because of how bright the bulb is. :)
